In my recent search for the lightest weight flat pedals for the money, (I will post that scientific research in the near future) I stumbled upon Superstar Components. Based in Great Britain, Superstar Components says it is a high quality, discount parts retailer that buys directly from factories and sells direct to market.
Prices can be a bit confusing since they are in British Pounds but as of 3:33 PM on 9/23/10, just multiply by 1.5694 and there's your price in USD. The best news is that shipping is cheaper than for most US based retailers. It is a flat rate only 5 Pounds for shipments to the States, 2.50 within Europe and FREE within the UK. Wheels and other large items are excluded and you need to email them for those rates.

Many of their parts look really slick and everything comes with a two year warranty which trumps many other big name manufacturers who only buck up for a year. I hope to review some of their products in the near future, but for now I'll highlight a few.
Pedals: They come in a number of different axle and body configurations to suit any rider's price point and weight savings desires. I was comparing their highest end Ultra Mag CNC pedals with the Titanium axle upgrade to my current Specialized Lo Pro Mags (which I love, but they aren't the lightest) and switching would save me over half a pound!
Disc Brake Rotors: Starting at $14.13, they look the same as other replacements that go for $40 and they "are made in the same factory which makes most of the big boys rotors"
Grips: These look identical to ODI Ruffian's and cost about half the cost!
Tools: They make big claims on these as two years is a long time for some tools (such as cable cutters) to last under heavy use. Usually discount tools are junk and I shy away but these have me thinking twice. I really like the Allen Key set and at around $30 USD, it's about half of what the Pedros and Park ones run.
If anything, its worth giving their site a look and I will most definitely post some review of their product and be sure to highlight the quality I do or do not see if their products.
